Easypack bags Maharashtra IT Special Award for 2010

Easypack Software Inc. bagged the prestigious IT Special award from Government of Maharashtra for outstanding performance in Information Technology for year 2010 at the hands of Shri Ashok Chavan, Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, on 20th August 2010 at a glittering ceremony at Yeshwantrao Chavan auditorium, Mumbai.

“Maharashtra Information Technology Awards” have been instituted in 2004 to felicitate the IT companies and Institutions in Maharashtra, for outstanding performance during the year. The awards are given on “Information Technology Day” – 20th August – to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister of India Shri Rajiv Gandhi.

Arun is a post graduate in Computer Science from BITS Pilani. To gain industry experience, Arun had worked in different capacities with diverse industries such as – Computer Maintenance Corporation, Mumbai, J. N. Marshall Pvt. Ltd., Pune, and Maharashtra Explosives Limited, Nagpur. His work on software for designing orifice plate in a pressure reducing station was accepted at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai where he presented a technical paper on this subject. With nearly 3 decades of experience in the field of IT and his passion for excellence , Arun is making significant contribution in the growth of Easypack.
